Members of the press and Oceantic Network’s media partners are welcome and encouraged to attend the 2025 International Partnering Forum (IPF), taking place April 28-May 1 in Virginia Beach. Please read through complete details and qualifications below before registering for the event.

Press Registration FAQs

  • Who can receive complimentary passes to 2025 IPF?

    Complimentary registration is available to credentialed journalists (i.e., professional reporters, editors, writers, news photographers, producers, and online editors) who work for a publication, news service, broadcast outlet, or news site that is regularly issued and published primarily for the dissemination of news, and operates independently from any commercial, political, government, or special interest.

    Sales/ advertising / marketing staff, analysts, brand content producers, researchers, authors, consultants, and others are not eligible for press registration. Non-media attendees can learn more here on how to register for 2025 IPF.

  • How do I request press credentials?

    Register for press credentials here. If you have any questions, email Oceantic’s media relations team.

    Registration Confirmation: You will receive an automated email confirming your registration. A member of the media relations team will review and contact you via email within one week if there are any issues with your credentials.

  • How can bloggers register?

    Blogger registration is handled by Oceantic’s communications team. Bloggers seeking press credentials must be working journalists or be affiliated in an editorial capacity with a qualified news outlet as described above. Generally, bloggers must also have been writing daily or weekly posts for at least six months. Consideration will be given to student bloggers who are enrolled full-time in graduate industry-related programs, or who can demonstrate involvement in producing editorial content for collegiate publications, broadcast outlets, or news sites.  

  • What is the next step after receiving press credentials?

    Oceantic’s 2025 IPF website is the best resource for information regarding the conference. One week prior to the IPF, you will receive an electronic press kit, which will include all relevant information for the conference (i.e., press room information, program, Oceantic’s media relations team contact information, etc.). 

    Copies of the media packet will also be available in the conference press room. Don’t forget to bring photo identification when you arrive at the conference. 

  • What other benefits are available to credentialed journalists?

    The 2025 IPF Press Room offers complimentary items including water, sodas, wireless Internet, and a quiet workspace. 

    Several press briefings will be held in the press room, and Oceantic staff, member experts, and concurrent speaker interviews can be conducted in the press room. 

    Interviews with exhibitors can take place only in the Exhibit Hall. 

  • What restrictions are there on video, photography, speaker interviews, etc.?

    Advanced permission is required for news cameras and radio broadcasts onsite during the conference, and recordings of all or portions of the conference without prior approval from Oceantic Network is prohibited. 

    Video of general sessions is prohibited, and keynote speakers generally are not available for interviews. However, b-roll video of public areas of the conference (for example, the Exhibit Hall) and video interviews of Oceantic staff and member experts are possible. 

    Please check with Oceantic’s media relations team for any restrictions on photography. 

    Many concurrent session speakers are available for interviews; check with the media relations team for possibilities. 

  • What do I do once I arrive at the conference site?

    All members of the media must pick up their press badges at the Press Check-In desk. A photo ID is required. Press credentials (your business card) are required for access to general and concurrent sessions and the press room. Media visitors or family members are not permitted inside the press room.
