The 2025 International Partnering Forum (IPF) takes place April 28-May 1 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach. Review the travel information and tips below to maximize your planning: 

Air Travel  

Hotels in the hotel room block are conveniently located approximately 20 miles (32 kilometers) from the Norfolk International Airport (ORF), approximately a 25-minute drive. Amtrak provides train service to Norfolk from major east coast cities. The train station is 19 miles (27 kilometers) from the Convention Center.

Ground Transportation

Rideshare and Taxi Options

Rideshare options, such as Uber or Lyft, range in price from $25-60, depending on your hotel location and time of day. One-way taxi service ranges from $50-65.

Airport Shuttle Service

In addition to rideshare options, Oceantic Network has partnered with an airport shuttle service, Orange Peel Transportation, to offer discounted rides for IPF attendees.

  • Make your reservation at least one week prior to arrival.
  • Orange Peel will do its best to group individuals together based on arrival times to defray cost.
  • Passengers will make payment once you reach your destination.


Cost:

  • 1 passenger: $55
  • 2 passengers: $30/ person
  • 3 passengers: $25/ person
  • 4 passengers: $20/ person

Tips for International Attendees

1. Allow enough time (we recommend 2-3 hours) for transfer in any U.S. airport to re-check your luggage and/or proceed to U.S. Customs and Border Protection Services for processing.

2. Not sure if you need a visa? Visit the U.S. Department of State Tourism & Visit page for information.
