Supply Chain Advancement – Public Sector

Eligibility & Criteria

  • Public sector organizations.
  • The organization shows ambitious but realistic supply chain goals important to the industry and society
  • Demonstrates investment in localizing the supply chain such as facilities, workforce development, and training
  • The organization is driving the advancement of the supply chain through adoption of new, innovative supply chain investments and/or practices
  • The project goes above and beyond standard supply chain investment, having a significant, long-lasting impact such as job creation, community reinvestment, or infrastructure improvements

 

Oceantic Network board members, Awards Committee, and jurors are ineligible to submit for individual awards during their terms of service. Their company is still permitted to submit a nomination, in which case the individual Board member, committee member, or juror will be recused from judging for that category.

Process & Submission Requirements

Application materials must be submitted as a single PDF file via the online portal — not including any photos/graphics. Use the Award Nomination Template to create your submission. Each page must include the entry category, project title (as applicable), and page number at the top. Use 12-point Times New Roman font, single space. The Award Application submission should include:

  • Title page: Include the Nominated Name (individual/company/organization); Nominated Project Name; and Project Location (as applicable).
  • Nomination Overview: Include the Nominated Name (individual/company/organization); Nominating Name (if different entity); Submitting Individual/s name, email; Nominated Point of Contact/s name, email; Short Description (75 words or less). NOTE: This description will provide the basis for all publicity for the nomination.
  • Executive Summary (max 500 words): A brief overview of the project. Address the criteria for the category you are entering. Describe why this project is worthy of special recognition. Explain factors that exhibit the project’s uniqueness and complexity, such as innovative engineering, challenges faced, and overall social impact.
  • Project Overview (do not exceed 2,000 words): Showcase organizational information, project description/approach (including problem solved, if applicable), implementation strategy, results and outcomes, as well as outlines key participants/team members, owner/client (if applicable), and images. Entrants may use text, photos, graphics, organizational charts as needed.
  • Images: Please upload images, including a headshot/s, a group photo, and company logo, in addition to any image assets to support your submission, as separate PNG or JPG files with descriptive file names through the submission portal. Please submit high-resolution image assets (300 dpi).
  • All applicants will be judged solely on their submitted materials.
