DEME Offshore US and Dominion Energy
As part of the construction of the largest US offshore wind project, Dominion and DEME partnered together on a Foundation Installation Campaign that resulted in the installation of more monopiles in one season than any other project in the United States. CVOW’s 2024 Foundation Installation Campaign successfully installed 78 monopiles in less than 5 months with DEME’s ORION, a state-of-the-art offshore wind installation vessel staffed with a skilled marine crew made up of Dominion leaders, DEME managers and technicians, and skilled US union workers.
