The Ventus Awards are Oceantic Network’s highest level of professional recognition, celebrating the trailblazing people, companies, organizations, and work worldwide ushering in the global adoption of offshore wind and other ocean renewables.   

New in 2025, Oceantic Network has broadened nominations for select Ventus Award categories to reflect the evolution of Oceantic Network’s mission, vision, and membership. The Ventus Awards will continue to shine a spotlight on those who are making a difference in the world through their talent, drive, and commitment to advance offshore wind and, now, other ocean renewables as well as improve the environment.  

Presented in eleven categories designed to honor all contributions and facets of the ocean renewables industry on a global scale, the awards now fall under two groups:

What is Startup Alley? 

Startup Alley offers companies working in the offshore wind and offshore renewables sectors an opportunity to pitch their business innovations to attendees at the largest offshore wind conference in the Americas. View examples of innovation areas below.

SeaAhead, a bluetech startup platform that helps accelerate the development of new companies working on issues related to ocean industries and ocean sustainability, will select 10-12 start-up businesses to deliver five-minute pitches to IPF attendees and participate in a moderated Q&A session.  

If accepted, SeaAhead will work with your company one-on-one to help hone your pitch. As the industry’s premier annual networking event and largest offshore wind conference in the Americas, your business will have access to an anticipated 4,000 global industry professionals from across the supply chain.

Registration also includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks. Note that several events, including tours and trainings, have limited capacity and are filled on a first come, first served basis when you register.
