BALTIMORE — Oceantic Network, the leading organization working to advance offshore wind and other ocean renewable industries and their supply chains, announced registration is now open for its annual International Partnering Forum (IPF), happening April 22-25, 2024, in New Orleans. New this year, IPF will feature a full week of offshore wind and ocean renewables events, networking, informational workshops and trainings, an extended exhibit hall schedule, and local tours now all included in the price of registration.
Oceantic Network’s annual IPF conference, hosted in 2024 by sponsors Fugro, RWE, and Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions, is the largest offshore wind energy conference in the Americas. Mirroring the Network’s rebrand earlier this year, IPF will feature expanded programming covering other ocean renewables related to offshore wind, such as green hydrogen and floating solar. Overall, 2024 IPF Week is expected to bring together 4,000+ attendees from across the globe with a focus on advancing the offshore wind industry in what is anticipated to be a pivotal year for the fast-growing international market (an agenda preview can be found on our website.)
“We’re excited to bring IPF to the Gulf Coast for the first time, a region that’s already contributed extensively to the domestic supply chain,” said Liz Burdock, founder and CEO of Oceantic Network. “April’s IPF will be the biggest yet, featuring tours and programming covering critical issues facing the offshore wind industry and addressing how offshore wind can support other ocean renewable industries. As we work towards full-scale commercialization of offshore wind in the U.S., 2024 IPF is key to helping businesses build the connections, access the tools, and share the knowledge needed to shape the future successes of a growing global industry.”
New in 2024, IPF will host a FloatON Summit, dedicated to the new frontier of floating offshore wind energy which will provide new opportunities for businesses across the supply chain. The day and a half Summit will take place April 24-25 in conjunction with IPF and will focus on sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovations around floating offshore wind. The FloatON Summit will convene the best and brightest minds to explain the market conditions, policies, and financial and insurance mechanisms necessary to make floating offshore wind technology competitive and realize commercialization in the United States. IPF will also host the U.S. premier of Planet Wind, a new documentary by Australian offshore wind pioneer Andy Evans that explores humanity’s relationship with wind across the globe.
IPF will continue to offer participants a wide array of networking opportunities, including the popular WindMatch™ program that works to directly connect potential clients and partners. This year will also see the return of Startup Alley, showcasing new and exciting innovations from small businesses, regional breakfasts, and more all included in the registration price.
