Michelle joined the Oceantic Network in 2022 as its director of Marketing. She oversees the Network’s growth and evolution of product marketing activities, leads generations and data acquisition efforts, and integrates marketing across all Network programs, projects, events, and activities.
Prior to joining the Network, Michelle partnered with the Network as a marketing consultant. Additionally, she worked as a nonprofit marketing and communications consultant for several years. Michelle has also led marketing efforts for several nonprofit organizations in New England, including Goodwill Industries of Northern New England and Maine Audubon. She has extensive experience in copywriting, content creation, email marketing, event planning, and building community partnerships.
Michelle has a B.A. in English and Environmental Studies from Providence College and an M.A. in American and New England Studies from the University of Maine.
Michelle currently serves as Board Secretary for Wild Seed Project, a nonprofit that builds awareness of the vital importance of native plants and provides people with the tools to restore biodiversity in their own communities. In her free time, Michelle enjoys gardening, baking, camping, watching live music, and reading. She lives in Portland, Maine with her husband and two children.
