PROVIDENCE – Oceantic Network, the leading organization working to advance the offshore renewable energy industry and its supply chain, will host its 2025 O&M/Health & Safety Summit, bringing critical offshore wind industry discussions to Providence January 29-31. As the support system for the offshore energy industry, operations and maintenance (O&M) and health and safety (HSE) are integral to the successful operation of U.S. offshore wind projects. Several projects are already in operation; with three commercial-scale projects under major installation today, the industry has reached a critical moment for O&M and HSE.
The Summit, bringing together industry and government, will discuss industry standards for operations and maintenance and how to ensure that safety remains a high-level priority as the American industry moves forward. This event includes feature keynote speeches on Thursday, January 30, from Rhode Island Representatives Gabe Amo and Seth Magaziner. It will also include an Ocean State Ports Tour on January 29, where attendees will get an up-close view of nearby offshore wind ports and supply chain facilities.
