For over 40 years, Resolve Marine has been a global leader in vessel salvage, emergency response, and specialized marine services. Operating across all continents, the company is known for delivering safe, innovative solutions in some of the world’s most challenging maritime environments. As the offshore wind industry grows and projects move from construction to operation, Resolve Marine is applying its deep expertise to support this dynamic sector.
Resolve Marine is positioning itself as the go-to emergency response partner for offshore wind operators. With a legacy of rapid mobilization and technical problem-solving, the company is investing in specialized equipment, training, and strategic partnerships to meet the sector’s evolving needs. Their goal is to be the first call when something goes wrong.
Training is a cornerstone of their approach. Resolve Academy, a state-of-the-art maritime firefighting school, brings together first responders, regulators, and contractors for hands-on drills and simulations. These exercises build individual skills and enhance industry-wide coordination and confidence.

Their entry into offshore wind was a natural evolution, driven by a strong understanding of the risks and complexities of working at sea. In July of 2024, Resolve Marine responded to a blade failure off the coast of Massachusetts. The incident required swift action—debris mitigation, recovery of floating and subsea materials, and blade remediation—demonstrating their ability to manage high-stakes emergencies. Resolve Marine quickly adapted its methodology and logistics, completing the operation with minimal downtime. This case underscored the importance of flexibility and contingency planning—core principles of their emergency response strategy
Currently, Resolve Marine is engaged in a groundbreaking offshore wind project in the United Kingdom involving turbine blade failures. The project features innovative techniques like controlled explosive cutting of damaged turbines, developed in collaboration with OEMs. This work highlights their role in advancing offshore wind salvage and setting new industry standards.
What is your long-term outlook within the U.S. supply chain? The global supply chain?
Our long-term outlook for the U.S. offshore wind supply chain is cautiously optimistic, as there is tremendous potential for growth but also notable challenges in greenlighting offshore wind projects. Globally, offshore wind has been undergoing rapid growth and expansion, relying heavily on a supply chain that is still not fully optimized. While there is great potential here, demand can often not be met due to infrastructure challenges, inconsistent regulations, and material shortages.

What unique solutions does Resolve Marine offer to these projects?
