Matt Shinay joined the Network in 2022 as the director of Registration and Data Analysis. He manages and implements registration and data capture strategy for all events and engagement activities for Network programs, projects, research, products, and services.
Prior to joining the Network, Matt was the director of Institutional Research for a private school system; working within regulatory affairs, he was responsible for state and federal accreditation compliance requirements. He has extensive experience in survey design, data analysis, and reporting. Matt is able to leverage his background in data collection and reporting to support the needs of the growing offshore wind industry.
Matt received a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Maine. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and disc golf, and going for hikes with his Goldendoodle Took. Matt is a proud New Englander and currently resides in the lakes region of Casco, Maine.
