Lee is a Data and Market Research Associate with the Digital Tools and Policy teams. He joined the Network in 2023 after a brief stint as an intern, and he plays a pivotal role in research gathering and synthesis. On top of maintaining the Supply Chain Connect and Market Dashboard databases, Lee also researches for and presents on-demand reports for internal and external consumption.
Before the Network, Lee worked in the Southeast for wine and spirits enterprises before moving to Scotland as an expert whisky consultant. Following Scotland, he returned to the States and joined a small law firm, where his chief roles were research, partner support, and database maintenance.
Lee earned his B.A. from Davidson College, double majoring in French and Theatre. His senior year, he completed an Honors Thesis on 17th century French theatre, specifically the works of Molière. It was during this process that his ability for nuanced exploration and application came to fruition.
Outside of the Network, Lee is an avid cinephile and tries his best to read at least 10 pages of his latest book a day. He also enjoys chess, making cheese boards, and playing with his mini bernedoodle Grace.
