Lee is Oceantic Network’s resident data person. As the primary overseer of Oceantic’s in-house database, the OSW Market Dashboard, he crunches numbers and confirms data to ensure near real-time accuracy for its users. Lee contributes to all of Oceantic’s reports, supply chain presentations, and advocacy undertakings. His work has made its way to federal agencies, state partners, and the White House. Additionally, he contributes to much of Oceantic’s original content and collates a daily news brief to keep the rest of the staff up to date on all policy and market news. He works closely with industry, government, and community partners to track, record, and analyze data in this ever-shifting industry.
Lee joined Oceantic as an intern in 2023 and steadily worked his way up to his current role. Prior to that he lived and worked in Scotland as a whiskey consultant. He currently lives in Baltimore with his wife and works out of Oceantic’s Baltimore, Maryland headquarters.
Lee earned his B.A. from Davidson College, double majoring in Theatre and French with an honors thesis on Molière. When not performing his wind-related duties, Lee can be found playing with his mini-bernedoodle, Grace—who regularly joins him in the office—or watching his Carolina Panthers lose yet another game (it’s a rebuilding year).
