Courtney Malvik is Oceantic Network’s Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Project Management, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of Oceantic’s complex and high-impact programs. Her role is central to driving organizational performance by integrating project management best practices, advancing digital tools, and leading strategic initiatives. She joined Oceantic Network in 2014 (then known as the Business Network for Offshore Wind) as Vice President of Design, leading a team crafting industry reports, graphics, and building brand awareness. Courtney became Vice President of Digital Tools thereafter, spearheading the development of the OSW Market Dashboard, OSW Supply Chain Connect, and Direct Connect member products.
For most of her career, Courtney has been helping businesses grow by fine-tuning their processes and developing applications that support these processes. Courtney began her graphic design and database career working for an antiquarian bookstore, where she developed a database system and a sophisticated accounting system. After completing her master’s degree, she worked as an Art Director for an IT startup that was acquired by IBM. After working at IBM for five years, she started her own business focused on database development and graphic design. Courtney also worked for BITHGROUP Technologies and LVI, an energy start-up.
Courtney holds an M.A. in Publications Design from the University of Baltimore, and earned her B.A. at the University of Michigan, double majoring in Communications and Psychology.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her daughter, participating in local archaeology digs, and being on any body of water in any kind of boat.
