BALTIMORE – The Oceantic Network today announced it will hold its annual Ventus Gala in Boston on November 9. The Ventus Gala is the offshore wind industry’s premier celebration, bringing together the industry to celebrate the year’s accomplishments, connect with peers, as well as honor the 2023 Ventus Award winners.
Now in its third year, this marks the first time the Ventus Gala will take place in Boston. The Network’s black-tie event will host distinguished industry leaders representing non-profits, government, educational institutions, and companies invested in the growth of offshore wind energy.
“The Ventus Gala gathers people with a passion for the offshore wind industry to celebrate our collective achievements over the past year—and we have a lot to celebrate in 2023, from the first steel in the water to a series of supply chain firsts,” said Liz Burdock, founder and CEO of the Network. “It also is the time we can come together to recognize the groundbreaking work being done by individuals, companies, and organizations to push our industry forward.”
Tickets to the Ventus Gala are now on sale. A portion of all Gala ticket and table sales go towards funding the Rising Star: Offshore Wind Scholarship, which awards college-bound high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in offshore wind with funding toward tuition. The Scholarship’s 2023 winners will also be honored at the Gala.
